Update 10 New Fruits
Three powerful new fruits were added in Update 10:
- Pteranodon (Mythical) — Currently the strongest fruit in the game. Excellent for both PvP and boss fights with high mobility and damage.
- Tree (Legendary) — Powerful crowd control and large AoE damage. Best for raids and large enemy groups.
- Demon (Legendary) — High damage output. Top pick for experienced players.
Notable Changes: Gas fruit was nerfed (reduced damage and duration) and has dropped from its previous high tier.
How Devil Fruits Work in King Legacy
Devil Fruits are the backbone of King Legacy's combat system. You eat one, you get powers. You can only hold one fruit at a time — eating a second one replaces the first permanently. As of Update 10 (Feb 2026), there are 30+ fruits in the game across three categories:
- Logia — Element-based. Grants passive intangibility against NPCs below your level. (Flame, Magma, Ice, Rumble, etc.)
- Paramecia — Special abilities. Widest variety of effects. (Quake, Shadow, String, Barrier, etc.)
- Zoan — Transformation-based. Turn into creatures with enhanced stats. (Dragon, Phoenix, Human, etc.)
How to Get Fruits
There are four ways to obtain fruits:
1. Fruit Dealer
Found on major islands in each sea. Stocks two random fruits that rotate every 4 hours. Prices range from 50,000 Beli (common) to 5,000,000 Beli (legendary). The stock is the same across all servers, so no point server hopping for better dealer stock.
2. Ground Spawns
Fruits spawn randomly on the ground every 60 minutes per server. They appear at fixed spawn points scattered across all islands and despawn after 20 minutes if nobody picks them up. This is the main free-to-play method.
3. Boss Drops
Bosses have a 2-5% chance to drop a random fruit on defeat. Higher-level bosses have slightly better drop rates and can drop rarer fruits.
4. Gacha Spinner
The Robux-based spinner on Starter Island. Each spin costs 75 Robux and guarantees a random fruit. Not recommended unless you have Robux to burn — the odds of getting an S-tier fruit are roughly 3%.
⚠️ Warning: If you eat a new fruit, your old fruit is gone forever. There's no way to store or trade fruits you've already eaten. Always think before you eat.
S-Tier Fruit Breakdown
These are the six best fruits in the game right now. If you have any of these, you're set for endgame.
Dragon (Zoan)
The king of King Legacy. Dragon transformation gives you flight, massive AoE attacks, and the highest raw combo damage in the game. Every move has enormous hitboxes.
- PvP: 5/5 — Flight + AoE stuns make you nearly impossible to deal with
- PvE: 5/5 — Clears Third Sea mobs and Update 10 dungeons faster than anything else
- Beginner-friendly: 4/5 — Forgiving moveset, but you still need to learn combos
- Awakening cost: 18,000 Fragments
💡 Pro Tip: Awakened Dragon's Roar move deals 45,000 damage in a cone and stuns for 2 seconds. Open every PvP fight with it.
Rumble (Logia)
Lightning speed, literal teleportation, and stun-lock combos that feel unfair. Rumble V deals 12,500 damage per tick at max mastery, and the teleport lets you reposition instantly.
- PvP: 5/5 — Stun-lock combos are nearly inescapable
- PvE: 5/5 — AoE clear speed rivals Dragon
- Beginner-friendly: 3/5 — High skill ceiling, but strong even at basic level
- Awakening cost: 16,000 Fragments
Magma (Logia)
Highest sustained DPS fruit. The floor-is-lava passive deals continuous burn damage to any enemy standing near you. Awakened Magma Meteor hits for 38,000 damage in a huge AoE.
- PvP: 4/5 — Burn damage adds up, but lacks hard CC
- PvE: 5/5 — Melts everything, literally
- Beginner-friendly: 4/5 — Simple moveset, high damage floor
- Awakening cost: 14,000 Fragments
Phoenix (Zoan)
The survivability fruit. Every attack you land heals you. Phoenix transformation grants flight, and the regeneration means you can solo bosses that would kill anyone else through attrition.
- PvP: 4/5 — Hard to kill, but damage is lower than Dragon/Rumble
- PvE: 5/5 — Never need to stop grinding. Zero downtime.
- Beginner-friendly: 5/5 — You literally can't die if you keep attacking
- Awakening cost: 15,000 Fragments
💡 Pro Tip: Phoenix is the best solo boss-farming fruit in the game. Kaido on Onigashima takes 5 minutes with Phoenix vs. 8-10 minutes with most other fruits, because you never have to disengage to heal.
Shadow (Paramecia)
Shadow clones multiply your damage and create chaos. Awakened Shadow gets additional clone summons that independently attack enemies. Top pick for dungeon speed-running.
- PvP: 5/5 — Opponents can't track the real you
- PvE: 4/5 — Clone damage is strong but slightly inconsistent
- Beginner-friendly: 3/5 — Clone management has a learning curve
- Awakening cost: 16,000 Fragments
Quake (Paramecia)
Biggest AoE hitboxes of any Paramecia. Quake Punch breaks through block. Awakened Sea Quake is devastating in team fights and dungeon wave clears.
- PvP: 4/5 — Block-breaking is unique and powerful
- PvE: 5/5 — Wipes entire mob groups per rotation
- Beginner-friendly: 4/5 — Straightforward slam-and-shake moveset
- Awakening cost: 14,000 Fragments
PvP vs PvE: How to Choose
This is the question everyone asks, and the honest answer is: it depends on what you enjoy more.
| Priority | Best Fruit | Runner-Up |
|---|---|---|
| PvP only | Rumble | Shadow |
| PvE only | Magma | Phoenix |
| All-rounder | Dragon | Rumble |
| Solo bossing | Phoenix | Magma |
| Dungeon speed runs | Dragon | Quake |
⚠️ Warning: Don't pick a fruit purely for PvP if you're still leveling. You need to hit 4900 first, and a PvE-focused fruit will get you there twice as fast. Switch to a PvP fruit later.
Awakening System Explained
Awakening upgrades your fruit's moves with enhanced damage, new effects, and sometimes entirely new abilities. Here's how it works:
- Reach Level 2000+ — Awakening is locked until Second Sea endgame.
- Collect Fragments — Fragments drop from bosses (100-500 per kill) and dungeon clears (500-1,500 per run).
- Visit the Awakening NPC on Dressrosa. Each move costs fragments individually.
- Total cost: 14,000-18,000 Fragments to fully awaken a fruit (varies by fruit).
That's roughly 30-50 boss kills or 15-25 dungeon clears for a full awakening. It sounds like a lot, but you'll accumulate fragments naturally while grinding levels in the Second and Third Seas.
💡 Pro Tip: Awaken your first move first — it's usually the cheapest (2,000-3,000 Fragments) and gives the biggest immediate power spike.
Budget Fruits for New Players
Can't get an S-tier fruit? These B and C tier options will still carry you through the First and most of the Second Sea:
- Flame (A tier) — Logia dodge, fire AoE, flight. The perfect starter.
- Ice (A tier) — Freeze utility, ice-walk across water, Logia dodge. Excellent for exploring.
- Barrier (B tier) — Indestructible shields. You won't die, even if killing things takes a while.
- Sand (B tier) — Logia dodge, quicksand traps, decent AoE. Gets the job done in Sea 1.
Don't stress about getting the "perfect" fruit early. Any Logia is better than no fruit at all, and you'll eventually find or trade for something better. Check our King Legacy Tier List for the full ranking of every fruit in the game.
