Bloodlines Are Everything
Let's not sugarcoat it: your bloodline determines 70% of your power in Shindo Life. Elements matter, stats matter, but your bloodline is what wins fights. A player with Rengoku and bad stats will still beat a player with maxed stats and Obi Ren Kugai.
This guide covers the three bloodline types, how the spin system actually works under the hood, and which bloodlines are worth chasing. As of the RELL Seas update (Feb 2026), these rankings reflect the current meta.
The Three Bloodline Types
Eye Bloodlines
The most popular category. Eye bloodlines give you three combat moves (Z/X/C) and a mode transformation that dramatically changes your appearance and boosts your stats. Think Sharingan, Rinnegan, and Mangekyo from Naruto.
Strengths: Highest burst damage, flashiest modes, best PvP tools. Weaknesses: Often high rarity (hard to get), modes drain stamina fast. Examples: Rengoku (1/150), Bankai Akuma (1/250), Shindai Akuma (1/300), Tengoku (1/250), Ryuji Platinum (1/175).
Elemental Bloodlines
These combine element-style attacks with bloodline-level power. They scale with both Chi and Ninjutsu, making them versatile but stat-hungry.
Strengths: Flexible stat scaling, good AoE, strong in PvE. Weaknesses: Jack-of-all-trades means they're rarely the absolute best at anything. Examples: Narumaki Six Paths (1/200), Narumaki Baryon (1/250), Borumaki (1/150), Apollo Sand (1/100).
Clan Bloodlines
Melee-focused bloodlines with unique fighting styles and taijutsu-enhancing modes. They scale primarily with Taijutsu.
Strengths: Strong in close-range PvP, satisfying combos, mode provides armor. Weaknesses: Struggle at range, need to get close to deal damage. Examples: Sengoku (1/200), Minakaze (1/120), Dio Senko (1/160).
The Spin System — How It Really Works
Every bloodline has a rarity expressed as 1/X. This means each individual spin has a 1-in-X chance of landing that bloodline. It's pure probability — no guaranteed pity, no mercy timer.
Here's what that means in practice:

Warning: "Average spins needed" doesn't mean you're guaranteed it in that many spins. Probability doesn't have memory. You can go 600 spins dry on a 1/200 bloodline. It happens.
Spin Storage
This is the most important mechanic new players overlook. Spin storage lets you bank your free spins (up to a cap) without using them. Here's why this matters:
- Free spins regenerate while you play
- If you spin one at a time, you waste time on animations
- Banking 100+ spins and spinning them all at once is dramatically faster
- During events, spin rates sometimes get boosted — save your stored spins for these windows
Access spin storage through EDIT > Bloodline > Spin Storage in the menu.
Pro Tip: If you're a free-to-play player, your spin storage is your most valuable resource. Never spin impulsively. Wait until you have 150+ stored, then go for it.
S Tier Bloodlines — The Best in the Game
Rengoku (Eye, 1/150)
The community's pick for the single best bloodline in Shindo Life. Its Z move is a fire dash that deals 65K damage and closes gaps instantly. X launches a fire pillar AoE (80K). C fires a tracking fireball (55K). Mode transformation gives you a flaming aura with +40% damage and speed.
Bankai Akuma's first move deals 180K damage at max level, but Rengoku's combo speed and versatility make it the more consistent choice overall.
- PvP: Unmatched. Fast moves, tracking, and burst.
- PvE: Equally strong. Clears bosses and mobs efficiently.
Shindai Akuma (Eye, 1/300)
The rarest meta bloodline. Shindai's mode is one of the best in the game — massive stat boosts, flight, and enhanced move damage. The Z move alone deals 120K with a large AoE. Getting it is the hard part.
- Worth every spin if you're patient enough.
Bankai Akuma (Eye, 1/250)
Versatile powerhouse. Strong AoE on Z (180K at max), solid single-target on X, and a defensive counter on C. Mode gives stat boosts and an intimidating visual that psychs out PvP opponents.
- Best for: Players who want one bloodline that handles every situation.
Narumaki Six Paths (Elemental, 1/200)
Six Paths mode is absurd — it boosts every stat simultaneously. Z fires a massive chakra ball, X is a multi-hit barrage, C is a devastating AoE slam. Scales with both Chi and Ninjutsu.
- Best for: Hybrid builds that invest in both stats.
Sengoku (Clan, 1/200)
The best clan bloodline. Melee combos that chain into mode for devastating strings. Mode provides armor that reduces incoming damage by 30%. Dominates close-range PvP.
Ryuji Platinum (Eye, 1/175)
The time-stop bloodline. Its C move literally freezes opponents for 3 seconds. In PvP, that's a confirmed kill. Nothing else in the game does this.
- Warning: Extremely high skill ceiling. The time-stop has a long cooldown, so you need to land it on the first try.
A Tier Bloodlines — Still Excellent
- Raion Akuma (Eye, 1/150) — Lightning speed and strong combos. Falls slightly behind S-tier in raw damage.
- Minakaze (Clan, 1/120) — Teleportation makes you a nightmare in PvP. Damage is moderate though.
- Deva Rengoku (Eye, 1/200) — Gravity push/pull is unique and disruptive. Great in team fights.
- Forged Rengoku (Eye, 1/180) — Newly added. Enhanced fire moves with higher damage than original Rengoku's base hits, but the mode is slightly weaker.
- Borumaki (Elemental, 1/150) — Wind/lightning hybrid. Fast and fun.
- Indra Akuma (Eye, 1/200) — Susanoo-like mode with strong ranged attacks.
Pro Tip: If you can't land an S-tier, Raion Akuma (1/150) or Minakaze (1/120) are realistic targets that are still competitive at high-level play.
Recommended Bloodline Loadouts
You equip two bloodlines at once. Here are proven combinations:
PvP Loadout: Rengoku + Ryuji Platinum
Freeze with Ryuji C, switch to Rengoku, unload full combo. If they survive, retreat and wait for cooldowns.
PvE Boss Killer: Shindai Akuma + Narumaki Six Paths
Activate Narumaki mode for stat boosts, then switch to Shindai for raw damage. The combined stat buffs are staggering.
Budget Loadout: Borumaki + Raion Akuma
Both are 1/150 rarity — realistic to obtain. Borumaki handles ranged fights, Raion closes gaps.
Beginner Loadout: Apollo Sand + Rykan Shizen
Both under 1/100 rarity. Sand clears mobs, Shizen heals you. Hard to die with this setup.
